Dukhan Bank Announces August Winners in Thara’a Savings Account Prize Draw

Doha, Qatar – 10 August 2025 – Dukhan Bank announced the names of the most recent round of draw winners for Thara’a, its Shariah compliant savings account, at the Bank’s headquarters. The draw was conducted on 6 August 2025, under the supervision of a representative of the qualitative license and market control department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

In this month’s draw, Abdulla Al-Badi won the top prize of QAR 50,000, while the following winners each received QAR 5,000: Shanmugam Sugumaran, Ahmed Babsail, Ibrahim Sedaqat, Ibrahim Titouche, Amine Gharsi, Abdulla Purath, Ali Alsulaiti, Ahlam Foladi, Cyril Eid, Amal Fayroze, Ali Al-Kuwari, Maryam Al-Muhannadi, Layla Dreik, Hissa Al-Mazrouei, Liwen Zheng, Rashid Al-Kuwari, Khaldoun Nachawi, Salha Al-Mansouri, Shameer Abdul Latiff, Yousif Al Quhumi, Asela Aluthge, Turki Al-Mehaizaa, Ahmad Al-Mohannadi, Alaa Hutheel, Sabika Al-Matawaa, Jaber Al-Jaber, Ali Al-Anzi, Nasser Alnaimi, Sultan Al-Sulaiti, Farhan Abdulla, Hanadi Bastaki, Khalid Al-Kuwari, Maryam Al-Sada, Sana Alavi, and Rajaa Kouza. 

Dukhan Bank continues its customer-centric approach with its enhanced Tharaa savings account campaign, reaffirming its commitment to rewarding clients. The upgraded campaign now features a total prize pool of QAR 5,025,000, with 327 winners throughout the year. The initiative includes three grand prizes of QAR 1,000,000 each, awarded every four months, along with monthly draws featuring a QAR 50,000 prize and 35 additional prizes of QAR 5,000.
