Dukhan Bank enhances mobile app with new services and feature

Doha, Qatar – February 17 2021: Dukhan Bank, Qatar's leading banking player, has announced the upgrade of its mobile banking application by adding new innovative services and features. This lies within the bank’s endeavours to better serve the needs of its increasingly digital customers, provide a comprehensive and safe banking experience, and increase its digital services portfolio.
Using the new services, customers can instantly open a new foreign currency and term deposit account online, in a few steps, safely and securely.
Furthermore, customers can view detailed bank transfers and wealth and investment account information in addition to learning about the new features through the “What’s New” feature on the application.

The Dukhan Bank mobile application already allows customers speedy, efficient, and secure access to their credit cards and debit cards for easy management. Customers can also access services like Dukhan Bank Rewards, money transfer with Western Union, cardless cash withdrawal services, opening and managing accounts, and managing children's bank accounts through their parent's account. With the enhanced features, customers can enjoy more services online at their own time, pace and convenience.
Term Deposit/Time Deposit lets customers open a Shariah-compliant fixed-deposit account, ranging from one month to five years with monthly profit payments. The bank also allows customers to open ‘Wadiati’, the Profit in Advance term deposit account. Both types can now be opened through the mobile application without visiting a branch.
For the first time, customers can view their Wealth and Investment Account through the mobile application. The service helps promote customers short-term and long-term financial goals through a wide range of Shari'ah-compliant investment solutions.
Dukhan Bank continues its efforts to provide the most advanced services that boost aspirations within digital transformation plans. Recently, the bank launched Dukhan Pay (D-Pay), its contactless payment platform, under which it released wristbands, Fitbit Pay and Garmin Pay that enable customers to make
