Dukhan Bank launches D-Tap, a new Payment Solution for Merchants
Doha, Qatar – 29 March 2022: Dukhan Bank, Qatar's leading banking player, announced the launch of D-Tap (SoftPOS with PIN acceptance), the new smart payment solution for Merchants. This low-cost, maintenance-free solution allows merchants to accept payments through a variety of contactless-enabled cards and devices as part of Dukhan Bank’s ongoing efforts to enhance its flexible technologically enabled corporate digital services portfolio.
With D-Tap, businesses can accept payments from any contactless-enabled card or mobile wallet right from their NFC-enabled Android™ device. This service requires no additional hardware and delivers a quick and convenient payment experience. Merchants also have the option to send the payment receipt via email or SMS.
