The Financial Institutions Group has established relationships with banks and other financial institutions worldwide, to provide innovative Shari'ah compliant solutions to meet the requirements of the bank's corporate and retail clients. The division has a substantial network of correspondent banking relationships to facilitate our customers’ international remittances and trade transactions.

The group also caters to the account and cash management needs of its institutional clients, including commercial banks, investment banks, brokers, finance and leasing companies and multilateral development institutions.

In addition, we handle trade finance business, Letters of Credit and non-LC trade business, and guarantees such as bid bonds, performance guarantees and advance payment guarantees.

We also arrange and participate in funded facilities through syndications and other debt instruments.
