Dukhan Bank has become the first partner in Qatar to join Mastercard’s global Digital First Card program. 
The Digital First program provides instant payments and banking services to customers through Dukhan Mobile, including the instant issuance of the new prepaid card and adding to your digital wallet to make payments. Customers can also view digital card data and manage a wide range of card features.

As a member of Digital First program, Dukhan Bank will also issue a uniquely designed physical card which is completely numberless on both sides, providing ultimate protection for theft of personal and financial information. Despite being numberless, the cardholder will be able to use the physical card to make in-store contactless payments. For e-commerce payments, cardholders can use the digital card safely stored and managed within Dukhan Mobile.

1. How can I get a digital prepaid card through Dukhan Mobile? 

• Log in to Dukhan Mobile 
• Select “My Cards”, then select “New card” and choose  
• “Prepaid Card” 
• Enter the required fields to complete the application process  
• Read and accept the Terms & Conditions 
• Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number 
• Once the OTP is entered, your digital prepaid card will be issued 

2. How can I view my digital prepaid card credentials? 

• Log in to Dukhan Mobile 
• Select “My Cards”, then select your digital prepaid card 
• Click on the card image 
• Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number 
• Once the OTP is entered, the below details will be displayed: 
  • 16-digit card number 
  • CVV  
  • Expiry date 

3. How can I add my digital prepaid card to my digital wallet?  

Apple Pay Wallet through Dukhan Mobile 

• Log in to Dukhan Mobile 
• Select “My Cards”, then select your digital prepaid card 
• Click on “Add to Wallet”  
• You will be redirected to Apple Pay Wallet to follow the steps 
• Once the card digitization steps are completed, a confirmation message will be displayed on the screen 

Apple Pay Wallet 

• Click (+) on the Apple Wallet App to add your digital prepaid card 
• You can either scan your card using your camera or choose to enter the card details manually 
• Enter the required fields to complete the registration process  
• Read and accept the Terms & Conditions 
• Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number 
• Once OTP is entered, the card will be added to the wallet 

Fitbit Pay Wallet 

• Download the Fitbit App on your device 
• Select device settings, tap Fitbit Wallet option and follow the instructions 
• If you do not have a PIN set up for your Fitbit, you will be requested to create one 
• Add your digital prepaid card in the Wallet 
• Read and accept the Terms & Conditions 
• Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number 
• Once the OTP is entered, the card will be added to the wallet 

Garmin Pay Wallet 

• Select Garmin Pay or tap “More” -> Select Garmin devices and follow the instructions 
• If you do not have a PIN set up for your Garmin, you will be requested to create one 
• Read and accept the Terms & Conditions 
• Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number 
• Once OTP is entered, the card will be added to the wallet

5. How do I load funds to my digital prepaid card? 

You can transfer funds from any of your Dukhan Bank accounts to your prepaid card using Dukhan Mobile or via the online banking platform. 

6. How do I set controls on my digital prepaid card? 

Log in to Dukhan Mobile 

• Select “My Cards”, then select your digital prepaid card 
• Select “Card Control” 
• Choose any of the below to set controls: 
  • Card activation / Deactivation  
  • Activate / Deactivate International Usage 
  • Activate / Deactivate In-Store Usage (with amount control feature)  
  • ATM Withdrawal  
  • Activate / Deactivate Online Usage (with amount control feature) 
  • Activate / Deactivate Magstripe 

7. What is a numberless physical card? 
 
The numberless physical card is a unique chip technology that contains the card number and its expiry date saved within it, thus ensuring that no number appears on the card. This information as well as the card verification value (CVC2), which is normally printed on the back of traditional cards, would be shown on the digital card via Dukhan Mobile, thus providing the ultimate protection against theft. You can log into Dukhan Mobile to verify your identity and obtain the required information for online shopping.  

8. Can I still apply for numberless physical card? 
 
If you wish to carry a physical card, you can apply for it via Dukhan Mobile following the steps provided below:  

• Log in to Dukhan Mobile 
• Select “My Cards”, then select your digital prepaid card 
• Select “More” and then Select “Physical Card” 
• Follow the instructions to complete your physical card request
